Product Description
420 (P.Y.42) is a inorganic pigment powder based on iron oxide (surface-treated) chemistry. Surface-treated iron oxide yellow, improved heat resistance to 240°C. With heat resistance of 240°C and light fastness grade 8, it delivers reliable performance in demanding applications.
As an inorganic pigment, 420 offers excellent opacity, chemical stability and weather resistance. The oil absorption of 40 g/100g provides good dispersibility in standard resin systems.
Typical applications: Industrial coatings, powder coatings, plastics, high-temperature applications. Migration resistance grade 5 and acid resistance grade 4 ensure long-term color stability.
