DENSON Launches New DP Series High-Temperature Color Pastes

Our new DP series can withstand temperatures up to 1000°C, ideal for PEEK, fluororubber, and refractory applications.

DENSON Functional Materials is proud to announce the launch of our DP Series — a breakthrough line of resin-free high-temperature color pastes engineered for the most demanding industrial applications.

Unmatched Temperature Performance The DP Series represents a significant advancement in high-temperature coloring technology. Unlike conventional color pastes that use organic resins as carriers, DP series features a completely resin-free formulation that can withstand extreme temperatures up to 1000°C (1832°F). This makes the DP Series ideal for applications where traditional color pastes would decompose, discolor, or compromise the integrity of the final product. ## Target Applications The DP Series is specifically designed for high-performance engineering plastics and specialty applications: - **PEEK (Polyether Ether Ketone)**: Processing temperatures often exceed 350°C, requiring colorants that maintain stability without outgassing - **Fluororubber (FKM)**: Used in aerospace and automotive seals, where color consistency at 250-300°C is critical - **Refractory Materials**: Industrial furnace linings and ceramic components that operate at extreme temperatures - **Powder Coatings**: High-temperature curing processes that would destroy organic pigment carriers - **Ceramic Coloring**: Applications requiring inorganic pigment stability at sintering temperatures ## Product Range The DP Series currently offers 13 grades covering key industrial colors: - **Blacks**: Resin-free carbon black and iron oxide black formulations - **Yellows**: Titanium chromium yellow and zinc iron yellow with exceptional heat stability - **Reds**: Cerium sulfide red and cadmium-free alternatives - **Blues**: Cobalt blue and ultramarine options - **Greens**: Chromium oxide green for maximum temperature resistance - **Violets**: High-purity inorganic violet pigments Each grade is available in multiple particle size distributions to optimize dispersion in different carrier systems. ## Technical Advantages 1. **Zero Resin Content**: Eliminates risk of resin decomposition, outgassing, or contamination 2. **Broad Temperature Range**: Stable from ambient to 1000°C depending on grade 3. **Excellent Dispersion**: Nano-particle technology ensures uniform color distribution 4. **Chemical Inertness**: No interaction with polymer matrices or additives 5. **Regulatory Compliance**: Heavy-metal-free options available for environmentally sensitive applications ## Availability The DP Series is now available for sampling.
